Refacing your cabinetry is a process that involves the replacement of new doors and drawer fronts and the resurfacing of your cabinet faces and to match.
With today's high prices you may not want to afford the cost
of completely remodeling your kitchen.

If your cabinets are in fairly good condition and you would like to save time and money, it may be a good time to consider refacing your cabinets as an alternative solution.  By having your cabinets refaced you can breathe new life into your tired, old and outdated kitchen.

 How is the process done?

  • Remove all of the existing doors & drawer fronts including moldings.

  • Sand all face frames and end panels for laminating the new laminate or veneer.

  • Modify existing cabinets or install new kitchen cabinets where needed.

  • Install new drawers constructed with real dovetailed joints and Blum quality side mount roller glides.

  • Install new doors and drawer fronts with Blum quality Euro hidden hinges.

Reface Your Kitchen Cabinets and Save...

In many cases you can get a better looking end results, existing cabinets are sometimes better quality with solid face frames than some of the newer cabinets available. Also, new kitchen cabinets are bought in individual and put up one at a time, leaving seams in-between each of the cabinet boxes. When cabinets are resurfaced, the process often provides a cleaner custom look than new cabinets can. The results you get with resurfacing your cabinets works much better than refinishing older kitchen cabinets that have a darker stain. Darker stained finishes cannot be stained with a lighter color. Properly finishing newly veneered kitchen cabinetry can give you an astounding natural look that will last for many years.

Word of caution: If you are not  VERY handy and skilled  in the many facets of woodworking it is always advisable to consult with a professional in your area. Cabinet refacing is a skilled trade that many installers or Refacers have spent many years in perfecting their own style and method to achieving a top quality end result.
